Mind Bending

Effect:

The magician borrows a two pence piece coin. He places it in the spectators hand, he asks them to focus on it "can you feel that" he says. They open their hand and they have bent the coin!

Set-up:

Method:

Before your performance, get a two pence piece and bend it in a vice. Now, borrow the coin, and switch the coins using your favourite method. Also, if you say to them "lets do something so we know that this is your coin, just put a dot onto the middle with this marker" they will usually not question this and then the effect is enhanced if you pre-sign your bent coin!
